HCL launches ‘Leaptops Z39’ in India

Loaded with features like 8GB RAM and 500 GB storage and powered by the latest Intel Centrino 2 technology, HCL Infosystems has launched ‘HCL Leaptop Z39’. It is ‘Designed for Indian Conditions’ with advanced thermal engineering technology. HCL also announced the launch of its unique 24X7 service ‘HCL Touch’ with 20 Company owned outlets in West Bengal, the service will offer support in English, Hindi and Bengali.

Addressing the occasion Mr George Paul, Executive Vice President, HCL Infosystems said, “Over the past three decades, HCL has always been at the forefront of bringing in technological innovation in the country. HCL Leaptop Z39 comes with a 14.1 inch wide screen and is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors based on latest Intel Centrino 2 technology and has a battery backup of about 4 hours. Compliant to the Energy Star 4.0 ‘Category A’ certification, the HCL Leaptop Z 39 consumes less than 1.7W of energy in sleep mode and below 1W in stand-by mode and is optimised to reduce its power consumption. Further these products have undergone rigorous tests, which certify these laptops to perform under extensive heat, humidity and voltage stress conditions. Furthermore all HCL products are fully RoHS compliant thereby ensuring environment-safety.

The HCL Leaptop Z39 will be available nationwide at all HCL DigiLife stores, premium Large Format Retail and other HCL retail outlets.
